It's actually about 60" long. The edge was also cut poorly and loose strings hang everywhere. Very poor workmanship, and misleading description. It looked ok coming out of the box, the scarf is not particularly long, as the description would have you believe; it is just a regular length scarf. The edges are cut straight enough, and it is soft enough. I bought it as a gift so in terms of appearance it seemed fine. The only problem was that as soon as I opened the box I noticed a weird smell coming from the scarf. The scarf smelled very unpleasant, something like a wet cat. As this was intended to be a gift the smelly scarf could not do. I did not have time to get a new gift before Christmas so I resolved to try some febreze to see if the offensive smell would go away. It did after being soaked thoroughly in febreeze.
